I Am A Child of God in Cantonese and Japanese

Cantonese  
(one of the many Chinese dialects)

The "ng" sound at the beginning of a word is like the "ng" sound in the word "Sing".

Ngaw see Sun di(short vowel sound) high gee 
Taw chai ngaw loi chee day 
Chee ngaw yut (like "hut") go sai sung gaw ting 
Yow chun ngoi di sung chun

Ling ngaw, doe ngaw you ngaw tong (long "o" like tone) joy 
Joe ngaw hung jing low 
Gow ngaw so yow ying gee see 
Taw yut you Sun tong (long "o" again) joo.


Romanized Japanese:

Ka-mi no ko de-su 
Wa-ta-shi ya an-a-ta 
a-fu-re-ru me-gu-mi ni 
Kan-sha shi-ma-su

Wa-ta-shi o ta-su-ke-te 
Mi-chi-bi-i-te 
It-su ka-mi mo-to e 
Yu-ke-ru yo-u-ni

2. ka-mi no ko de-su  
wa-ta-shi ya a-na-ta  
mi ko-to-ba ta-da-shi-ku  
wa-ka-ru yo-u ni  
(chorus is the same) 

3. ka-mi no ko de-su  
wa-ta-shi ya a-na-ta  
mi ko-ko-ro o-ko-na-i  
ma-ta ten ni su-mu
